Let's rewind to October 10, 2023, when the vibrant halls of LODGE, nestled within LINE Yahoo's headquarters building, played host to "XR Talk vol. 8." It was an electrifying community event dedicated to unraveling the latest trends and hands-on experiences in XR.

At our booth, we showcased "HoloThrow" once again, following its debut in September, alongside "HoloAir" from our July showcase. Two groundbreaking products, one immersive experience!

"HoloThrow" is a VR-based physics learning application tailored to demystify high school mechanics. Concepts like trigonometric functions and vector decomposition, often daunting in traditional classrooms, come to life with intuitive understanding through this app.

The feedback poured in, and we were thrilled by the positive response:

On October 23, 2023, the seminar room of Microsoft Japan Co. buzzed with excitement as the "HoloLens Meetup" event unfolded.

The "HoloLens Meetup" serves as a platform for tech aficionados to dive into the world of Mixed Reality using HoloLens—an innovative pair of glasses that unlocks immersive experiences. While HoloLens was the pioneer, similar hardware is now burgeoning, opening new avenues for exploration.

At our booth, we showcased the wonders of "visualization of magnetic fields," bringing the invisible to life right before our visitors' eyes.

Here's a glimpse of the feedback we received:

Brr, it's suddenly getting chilly out there! On the cozy evening of November 14, we gathered at LODGE, a vibrant social space nestled within LINE Yahoo!, for the much-anticipated "XR Talk vol. 9." It was an exhilarating community event designed to unravel the latest buzz and hands-on experiences in XR.

Kicking off promptly at 7:00, the talk session buzzed with excitement as we delved into various news snippets. A special guest took the stage, captivating us with insights into "Immersive Experiences." Picture this: screens sprawled across a vast expanse, weaving a mesmerizing tapestry of content. Truly, it was a glimpse into the future of immersive storytelling.

As the evening unfolded, our hands-on exhibit stole the spotlight, drawing rave reviews from attendees. What struck a chord most profoundly was the appreciation for visual learning. Many found the incorporation of visuals—a boon for grasping intricate subjects like physics—utterly fascinating. The ability to render invisible concepts tangible resonated deeply, especially in educational contexts. Three-dimensional visualization, they noted, breathed life into abstract notions, fostering experiential learning.

Such glowing feedback fuels our passion and validates our trajectory. It's a beacon of encouragement guiding our future endeavors. We're committed to leveraging these insights to enrich educational landscapes and unearth new horizons.

What is the XR Experience Exhibition Event? Physics Teachers propose from the forefront of technology.

Can you believe we're just three weeks away from wrapping up this year? How's everyone holding up amidst all the hustle and bustle?

So, yesterday, we had the pleasure of participating in the XR hands-on exhibition event. Now, you might be wondering, what exactly is that? Especially for us teachers, it might sound like a whole new world. Typically, I breeze past these explanations, but let's dive into it this time.

Participation in Volunteer Cleanup of Shopping Streets and Philosophy of Trash Pickup from Shohei Otani's Words.

The recent drop in temperature has made gloves a necessity. In the brisk mornings, I volunteered to tidy up Koen-dori Shopping Street in Kichijoji Honmachi. Despite the street's usual hustle and bustle, a dedicated effort behind the scenes ensures its beauty remains preserved.

Though the street is relatively quiet, there's a palpable sense of unity as personnel from various businesses within the shopping district converge to clean up together. Armed with tongs, we diligently clear trash from JR to Itsukaichi Kaido, tidying the roadsides as we go.

During this endeavor, I conversed with Mr. Himeno, president of Management Brain, and a community-involved small business consultant. Our discussion delved into the history of the shopping district, Kichijoji, and the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Shopping Centers. One remark from Shohei Otani resonated deeply: "Picking up trash is picking up the luck that people have dropped."

Our company values diverse connections, extending from local beautification to supporting initiatives in Africa. We remain committed to active engagement in the Kichijoji shopping district, striving to maintain its cleanliness and vibrancy.

商店街清掃ボランティア参加と大谷翔平の言葉

ずいぶん寒くなりましたね！もう手袋が欠かせません。

そんな寒い朝の時間帯、私は地元の商店街（公園通り商店街）で掃除のボランティアに参加しました。吉祥寺本町の通りはいつも賑やかで、日々の活気に満ちていますが、その裏側で、地域の美しさを守るために多くの人々が尽力しています。

まだ人通りはまばら。しかし、商店街に所属するお店やホテル、百貨店などのスタッフの方々が一斉に掃除を始めると、連帯感のようなものを感じます。トング（火ばさみ？）を手に、皆で協力してJRから五日市街道までの範囲のゴミを拾い、道端をきれいにしました。

この活動を通じて、地域に深く関わっているマネジメントブレーン社長で中小企業診断士の姫野先生とお話をさせて頂きました。商店街や吉祥寺の歴史や商工会議所、商店街連合会の営みについて学ぶことができました。大谷翔平の「ゴミを拾うことは、人が落とした運を拾うことだ」という言葉を教えていただき、感動させられました。

弊社は地域美化からアフリカ支援まで、多様なつながりを大切にしています。吉祥寺の商店街がこれからも清潔で活気に満ちた場所であり続けるように、今後も積極的に参加していきたいと思います。

2023年後半の活動のご報告 イベントや学会など沢山の貴重な機会を頂きました

深夜2時、静寂に包まれたリビング。水槽の水が落ちる音だけが聞こえます。つい先ほど、今年最後の仕事を終えました。あとひと息。これから2023年後半の活動についてご報告させていただきます。

▽ 第16回「高校物理の授業に役立つ基本実験講習会」に講師の1名として参加しました。お手伝いしたのはスマホ実験です。声をかけていただいた横浜物理サークルの先生方、ありがとうございました。

▽ 科学教育協議会全国大会に参加しました。5年前も参加したのですが、今回の方がうまくいったと思います。S先生、アドバイスありがとうございました。誘って頂き広い場所を使わせていただいた横浜物理サークルの先生方にも、心より感謝いたします。

XR体験展示イベント・・・って何だろう？物理教師、テクノロジーの最前線に立つ。

あと3週間で今年が終わるなんて信じられませんね。そんな忙しい師走の最中、皆さまにおかれましてはいかがお過ごしでしょうか。

私たちは昨日、XR体験展示イベントに出展しました。このイベントは、「XRの最新トピックや体験展示を共有するコミュニティイベント」として開かれました・・・と言われても、特に教師の方々には「それ何？」とピンとこない方がほとんどだと思います。いつもはこのような説明を飛ばしていましたが、今回はこの部分に焦点を当ててみましょう。

商店街の清掃活動に参加しました。モバイルな吸い殻入れのススメ。

おはようございます。

今年は寒くなったりそうでなかったりと変な天候ですが、弊社は先ほどまで商店街の清掃活動に参加していました。タバコの吸い殻が多いですね！モバイルな吸い殻入れを持ち歩くのは面倒ですが、良識の証だと思ってぜひお願いします。

弊社は地域美化からアフリカ支援まで、多様なつながりを大切にしています。今後ともよろしくお願いします。

「XR Talk vol.9」イベント展示報告。貴重なフィードバックをありがとうございました。

急に寒くなりましたね！そんな11月14日の夜、LINEヤフー本社ビル内交流スペース「LODGE」で「XR Talk vol.9」が開催されました。このイベントはXRの最新トピックや体験展示を共有するコミュニティイベントとして開かれました。

7時からはトークセッションが始まり、様々なニュースが紹介され、特別ゲストの方が「イマーシブ・エクスペリエンス」について語りました。これは、大空間にスクリーンを配置してコンテンツを表示する新しい体験を紹介するものでした。その後、体験展示が始まりました。

展示を体験した方々から、私たちの展示に対する肯定的なフィードバックをいただきました。その中でも特に印象的だったのは、視覚的な学習に対する高い評価です。参加者は、「物理学のような難しい学問を視覚的に理解しやすい教材は非常に面白い」と感じたと述べています。さらに、目に見えない概念や現象を視覚的なイメージとして捉えることができるため、「教育現場に非常に適している」との意見もありました。3次元での視覚化により、概念が体感的にわかりやすくなるという点も強調されています。

このようなポジティブなフィードバックは、私たちの取り組みが正しい方向に進んでいることを示しており、今後の活動に対する大きな励みとなります。教育分野でのさらなる展開と、新たな可能性の探求に向けて、これらの意見を活かしていきたいと考えています。イベントを主催してくださったLINEヤフー市川さん、Zozo諸星さん、そして体験してくださったみなさん、ありがとうございました。
